Cats on the Green is a family run cattery in Southampton operated from the family home and is the pride and joy of owners Ian and Julie who have set out to provide a home from home for their feline guests.
Cats on the Green is a small and exclusive boarding cattery in Southampton, constructed in 2018 offering modern contemporary accommodation of the highest quality.
We have 8 chalets for 1 – 2 cats and 6 chalets for up to 4 cats, in all cases where a chalet is shared all cats must be from the same household.
Our walk in PVC chalets are split into two areas. The sleeping quarters at the back are double glazed and individually heated with a thermostatically controlled panel radiator, ensuring a constant and cosy temperature even in the coldest winter weather.
At the front the exercise area is bright and airy with a good view into the garden.
The lighting for each chalet is dimmable and controlled by wire free switching, making it easy to create soft relaxing lighting as the evening draws in.
The chalets are entered via a generous width corridor the full length of the building and all external doors are fitted with 5 lever security locks. Fans have been installed along the corridor to allow for plenty of cooling air movement in hot weather and an external canopy has been constructed to offer extra protection from the elements.
Within our Southampton cattery is a purpose-built kitchen, fully stocked with a wide variety of food and everything else needed to keep your cat enthused and happy at mealtimes and beyond.
The whole building has been designed with your cats comfort, safety and wellbeing at it’s heart. With a plentiful selection of comfy beds and luxurious throws to snuggle into for a hard days snoozing and an occasional glance at the wildlife in the garden!
